A Pre-Advent Journey Retreat

Led by Rev Pauline Hart. Advent is meant to be a time of waiting and preparation for the coming of Christ. However, for those in church ministry it can be just so busy that there is little time to ponder the meaning of Advent or even Christmas itself.

This retreat is a breathing space to just be. We will wonder at the way that Mary made space for the Christ child, for Jesus and allow God to speak into the effect this has on ourselves. There will be silence but also some opportunities to share for those who would like to.

Pauline Hart is an experienced spiritual director and is on the chaplaincy team at Pleshey. She has trained to accompany people in the Ignatian exercises in everyday life (19th annotation). She is a professed member of the Third Order of St Francis and is a Priest in the Tenpenny Villages Benefice, just outside of Colchester.
