The awesomeness of wellbeing

A Day to reflect on awesome experiences that impact our wellbeing

Led by Rev Michèle Hampson. Open to everyone. It’s strange that we don’t hear more about awesome experiences when they have such an impact not only on our wellbeing but on our relationship with God and all God’s Creation too. Bringing science and theology together, we will deepen our understanding and discover a range of ways to enhance our experiences of awe. Hopefully, we can then share this good news with others.

There is a rhythm of worship to the day interspersed with fact-sharing, discussion, personal reflection, and prayer, as we learn and share together in a fun, creative way. And of course, our wellbeing should increase as the day goes on!

Michèle is a retired adult psychiatrist living in Nottingham. She is now a priest engaged in the healing ministry. She was warden of the local retreat house, where she led several days on wellbeing from a Christian perspective.

This day is in the ‘wellbeing’ strand of the Retreat House programme and Chelmsford Diocese clergy and LLMs may apply to use their CMD grants. The day can be combined with an overnight stay or two at the House. If you would like this please contact the Retreat House direct 01245 237251.
