A 7-day walking retreat combining walks in beautiful Essex countryside, with reflections on the life and journeys of Moses.

Led by Tim Lee. We will have country walks in the Pleshey area, ranging from a gentle start of 2.5 miles up to 10 miles by the end of the week, including some local churches and pubs. There will be a few pub lunches (not included in the price). We will also be reflecting on the life of Moses, who spent so much of his life on the move.

As in 2026, this week will be led by Tim Lee. He is a spiritual director trained in the Ignatian Tradition. Tim says, ‘this week is a sort of pilgrimage, returning each night to the Pleshey retreat house. What I enjoy about pilgrimage is that is a spirituality that combines movement, the beauty of creation and making spiritual discoveries together’.
